Foundation award - Preparation for International Work • Young people and educators build an awareness of global themes: • Schools run activities which introduce global themes to young people • Young people share information about their local context with partners • Educators identify a need to introduce global citizenship issues in teaching • Educators build awareness of practices in other schools and identify priority areas of practice to improve whilst sharing education practice with partners
Foundation award • International School Ethos • Schools prepare for international work: • · Schools audit international activity and assess young people’s and educators’ understanding • · Schools appoint an international coordinator and write an international policy • · Schools actively seek and prepare to work with partners
