Dual language programs are proven methods for improving standardized test scores for both native Spanish-speaking students and English-speaking students alike. 90/10 (Spanish/English) – receive language instruction by being immersed in each others’ language Development of bilingualism and bi-literacy for all participants Cultivates an understanding and appreciation of other cultures Inspires self-esteem, and strengthens positive attitudes among students, their families, and the community Applications, for children in the Johnson attendance zone, will be available during Kindergarten Round-Up, April 15th – 18th, 2013.
