  1. National MFSU Contract Changes • Requirements Type Contract • When the use of a National MFSU is needed for Federal Wildland fire suppression activities in the western US and Alaska, the Government is obligated to purchase such quantities as may be needed from the NMFSU any time 1) the # of people to be fed is at or above 150/meal and 2) we estimate to remain at those numbers or greater for 72 hours.

  2. Dust Control – Government is responsible for dust control. This does not include the salad bar and eating tent areas. • Added language to clarify salad bar shall be included in the daily meal prices. • Deleted any mention to plate counts • Tents/Seating increased. Must accommodate 200 persons. 150 Alaska.

  3. All employees shall wear uniforms and ID tags with employee name and Company Identification. (ie T-Shirt, Cap) • Must have completed performance evaluations with the Kitchen Unit at all times. • Contractors are required to test the 200 gallons of potable water that they are required to come with.

  4. Removed all reference to Alternate Kitchens. • When a unit has been released, the unit may remain on site when approved by the COR or FDUL. • Lead Time • LSC will determine who will be the first to be released based on design, capability, size, need, performance, price.

  5. Additional Orders • Any cancellation or reduction in hot meals shall be made 4 hours in advance of serving time. • No optional equipment. • Wooded pallets are not permitted in the required refrigeration or freezer areas. • Required to come with 8 sinks.

  6. Weekly menus shall be submitted within 24 hrs of arrival. • No egg product • Eliminated light lunches • Green Sheen • Pump 15% • Removed vacuum sealed meats

  7. COR or FDUL able to document deficiences and when appropriate reduce payment. • No incentives/disincentive • No daily fee, tiered pricing • 4th meal Contractor shall be paid 90% of the # of meals ordered or served, whichever is greater, if the order is not cancelled or reduced 4 hrs in advance of serving time.

  8. Relocation Fee - $1,000 • New performance evaluation forms • New invoices • New pricing structure.
