Dane & Jefferson County Youth Football League • Teams • Cambridge • Columbus • Jefferson • Johnson Creek (6th only) • Lakeside Lutheran • Lake Mills (7th & 8th only) • Marshall • McFarland • Whitewater • 8th Grade Games • 9-minute quarters • 160 lbs and up must play on the line • 7th Grade Games • 9-minute quarters • 140 lbs and up must play on the line • 6th Grade Games • 14-minute continuous clock quarters • Clock to stop only for timeouts, injuries, scores and changes of possession • 120 lbs and up must play on the line

Concussion Protocol • Coaches trained to spot signs through USA Football’s Heads Up program • Certified Trainer required to be at every game • Will evaluate player immediately • Trainer’s decision is the only decision as to player re-entering game • If concussion is diagnosed • Physician clearance (in writing) is required for player to practice/play

Practice & Game Schedules • Practice Schedules • Set by Coaching Staff • 4 Practices per week before school • 3 Practices per week during school • Equipment issuance – August 4th • 1st Day of Practice – August 5th • Will be listed on Team page of the website • Game Schedules • TBD • 1st Game – August 24th • No games Labor Day Weekend

Volunteer Time • 2 shifts must be completed to get $75 deposit back • Sign-up on the website under ‘DIBS’ and claim a time slot • Matt Splinter Softball Tournament – June 8th & 9th • (8) 1-hour timeslots for 2 parents and 2 players • Players will get to wear jerseys while volunteering • Sign-up under ‘DIBS’ tomorrow – 1st come 1st served
