FEMINA Latin root “woman”
FEMINISM (fehm-ihn-izm) noun Definition: A belief system that women should possess the same political and economic rights as men. Forms: feministic, adjective “After going into politics and seeing the inequity between men and women, Jerry decided to support feminism.”
FEMINIST (fehm-in-ist) noun Definition: A supporter of women’s rights for the same treatment as men. “Feminists at the office protested that women in the office were not getting the same privileges as the men.”
