What is a goal ? Definition : An observable and measurable end results having one or more objectives to be achieved within a more or less fixed timeframe.
Who set goals - God - Jesus - Apostle - You and I
Jesus set goals Luke 13: 32-33 And He said to them, “Go and tell that fox, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.’ 33 Nevertheless I must journey on today and tomorrow and the next day; for it cannot be that a prophet would perish outside of Jerusalem.

The Lord’s Apostle set goals. Philippians 3: 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. ( cf – II Tim. 2: 7-8 ) I Timothy 1: 5 But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.

Facts are of little value until we know how to apply them. Colossians 1:10 so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; ( James 1.. implanted word saves)
Developing trust / faith is fundamental Romans 10: 17 ... Study produces faith. James 1: 2-3... Trials strengthen faith. Applying the Word affirms faith. Hebrews 5: 14–But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.
Some areas requiring congregational goals : 1. 100% Participation Evangelism 2. Total Membership involvement 3. That We All May Be “ONE”
The ultimate goal is to be face to face with God in eternity.
