Objectives of the Digital Accessibility Toolkit for Policy Makers • To provide a platform to develop useful resources for Policy Makers implementing the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities • Focusing on what works, what does not with case studies on policy and programs from around the world • Developed by G3ict and ITU with the support of the National University of Ireland, Galway, Industry, NGOs, and Policy Makers

Contents of Toolkit • Overview of the Convention and its dispositions covering ICTs • Demographics and statistical analysis of the worldwide installed base of ICT devices and telecommunications services • Background on ICT Accessibility Issues • Resource guide for policy making by core areas of ICTs • Product development and design • Public procurement policies • Promoting assistive ICTs for persons with disabilities • Regional and international cooperation • Role of local governments • Country assessment and policy development models
