  3. 1. Beforeyouleave: • Follow application instructions from the host university: what / how / where / when? DEADLINES!! • Register with the central International Office as an Erasmus grant applicant (or with SNUF for non-European destinations). • Have your Learning Agreement signed by study advisor, IMO and host university, or you will not get your Erasmus grant (what if they won’t sign until you are there?)

  4. 1. Beforeyouleave: • Substitute courses? Approval examination committee! E. ID still valid? International health insurance card? Liability insurance? F. Scan important documents and mail them to yourself and a contact person. G. Cancel your Public Transport card for the time you are abroad (signed form after grant application; before departure cancel at a charging station)

  5. 2. Onceyou are abroad • Host university’srules! • Changes in yourLearningAgreement? ChangeForm! Download from IMO site oruse host university’s. Have itsigned and sendit to IMO. • Unforeseencircumstances? Inform host university, askfor help ifneeded, inform IMO.

  6. 2. Onceyou are abroad Download ‘Tips and GuidelinesforyourStayAbroad’ (seewww.ru.nl/fm/imo > outgoingstudents ) E. Blog? Link to IMO! F. Earnenoughcredits!

  7. 3. Beforeyoucome back • Have Study Statements Formsigned/stampedby host university! Neededforfinalizing Erasmus grant • Check whereyour transcript willbe sent. Choice? Address IMO

  8. 4. Onceyou are back • Hand in yourStudy Statements Form (Erasmus) at central IO, upload a report onyourstayabroad. • Received the transcript yourself? Hand in a copy at IMO. IMO takes care of havingyourgradesentered in OSIRIS.
