  2. Setting Up Your Interactive Notebook • The first two pages of Interactive Notebook must include a collage and 5 quotes

  3. Table of Contents….. • The next 6 pages are designated to your Table of Contents Let’s set this up together!

  4. Adding Page Numbers • Now take some time to set up your numbers in you INB…. • They need to be on the bottom right of EVERY page.

  5. “Yellow Pages” • Let’s set up the back of your INB • On the very last page of the INB you need to paste the class expectations (p. 139) • On the next page please paste the “survival tips” (p.138) • The INB grading system goes on page 137. • We will add to these “yellow pages” throughout the year.

  6. Left Side Right Side • The pages on the left side will be designated to things you receive in class. • The pages on the right side are designated for activities that allow you to process the information learned. Rubrics Cornell or Guided Notes Cartoons Movie Notes Flow Chart Graphic Organizers License Plate Rotten Tomatoes Review Stations

  7. Right Side Activities • Look at yourgreenright side activities sheet. • Let’s go over what options you will have throughout the year! • Tape this sheet on page 7 and 8 in your INB

  8. Learning Buddies • Place your pink learning buddies sheet on the first page after your table of contents- page 9.

  9. A Few Things to Add….. • Ribbon Hot Glue Your Ribbon Upside Down So When You Use It As A Place Marker It Is Upright

  10. These Will Be Used To Store Papers • Pocket

  11. First Unit of Study Page • We will label your first Unit of Study page. • 7th: Colonization(p.11) • 8th: The Civil War (p.11) *Title p. 10 U.S. History Timeline
