Oprah • Oprah Winfrey was born January 29, 1954, in Kosciusko, Mississippi. • To the parents of Vernita and Vernon Winfrey. • Her parents were divorced so she lived in Kosciusko with her mother,Vernita.
Oprah as a Child • She lived in Mississippi with her mother on a small farm. • When she lived with her mother she was treated very badly. • When she got a little older she moved in with her father, Vernon. • He was a barber and businessman.
