Tower of Prayer 8429 1st Ave Leeds, AL 35094 http://www.facebook.com/pages/Leeds-AL/The-Tower-of-Prayer The current recession has unemployment at an all time low, the state of our economy is requiring retired aged workers to re-enter the workplace. The Tower of Prayer would like to assist these community members in being able to provide for their families by helping them to secure employment. To offer computer training, job training and job search and placement tools, the Tower of Prayer is in urgent need of a Computer Lab. The computer lab would allow church and community members access to the type of resources and support needed for them to continue to contribute their community and support their families. The Tower of Prayer was founded in 2009 by Senior Pastor Shaemun C. Webster and Co-Pastor Andre W. Olden. The church is located at 8429 1st Ave Leeds, AL 35094. The mission of the church to create an atmosphere that is to more than just have “church” but an experience. At the Tower of Prayer the services are life-empowering, the Word is life-changing and the praise and worship are dynamic. The strategic goals of The Tower of Prayer are to provide a church for the community where everyone is welcome to worship with God, create out-reach programs from students through the G.A.N.G student’s ministries and advance the community by providing employment, housing and family resources.

  2. Cause Analysis The Tower of Prayer has the goal to empower the community by providing technology resources that enable them to secure employment. These resources would include but are not limited to computers, programs, software, resume and technology training. Once the community has access to this information and technology they will be equipped to secure employment. The community is currently unable to secure jobs because they lack the resources and training. The personnel at the Tower of Prayer are eager to assist the community but need the proper resources. The intervention plan would be to create a computer lab and staff that for the career resource center. This center will be about positive change in the community and society.
