  7. The Holy Spirit has his own desires & will1 Corinthians 12:11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, ...just as he determines.

  13. He helps us to speakMark 13:11Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.

  19. The Spirit brings us life & freedomRomans 8:10-11 But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives lifebecause of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

  20. He gives hope & that hope gives us joy & peaceRomans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

  21. He is in us so we can serve1 Corinthians 12:7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good

  22. Him in us means we have access to great growthThe Spirit is our sanctifier2 Corinthians 3:18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-23
