Some groups share common characteristics, knowing the groups to which a person belongs can help you make predictions about how he or she will respond to certain messages.
17. SOCIOLOGICAL STEREOTYPING
Make a prediction about other people based on characteristics of the large group (culture) or smaller groups (sociological) to which they belong.
