Use the appropriate spacer The wheel spacers that are being installed should be the right one for your car. Check with the manufacturer regarding the model of the car which can use the spacer. Spacers which are not fitting properly should not be used. Wheel nuts to be loosened first The car must be parked on a plain surface that is hard in nature. Fix the spacers securely An engineering adhesive such as Loctite should be used for securing your custom wheel spacers during fixation. Loctite must be placed on the wheel studs. The fixing of the spacers need to be done firmly onto the wheel studs and it should be attached securely with the hub. The nuts need to be tightened properly. A proper torque wrench must be used for the fixation. The nuts should not be made too tight or too loose.
