Regularly brushing and flossing prevents cavities, plaque build up, bad breath, and gingivitis. Brush your teeth in the morning, before bedtime, and if possible, after lunch and sugary snacks. LOVETT WELLNESS WARRIORS Lovett Wellness Warriors • HOW TO BRUSH YOUR TEETH: • Brush for at least 2 minutes • Brush the front, back, and • sides of your teeth • Use a soft bristle toothbrush Healthy Tip of the Week • Materials: • An apple • Peanut Butter (Optional) • Almond Slivers • Mini Marshmallows • Knife (ask for an adult’s help when • using a knife) • Directions: • Slice apple into • mouth shape • Add peanut butter for the • gums (optional) • Cut marshmallows in half • and add for teeth on one • apple • Add sliced almonds for the teeth on the • other apple • ENJOY!
