  2. 2014-2015 Registration Process at a glance…. • This year’s registration process will be slightly different from prior years. The below bullets will outline the registration process you will need to follow: • On-Line registration – NOW OPEN; complete the on-line registration process from the SFYHA website. • Register with USA Hockey first! The link will be found as the first step in the registration process • On-Line payment – SFYHA has converted to on-line payments via NGIN You will be able to pay via credit card, checking account, or pay-pal • You will have the option to pay in full or spread your payments over 4 months. • NGIN charges a processing fee; this is not a SFYHA fee. • Form Turn In Night(s) – to complete the registration process, you will be required to attend a “Form Turn In Night” September9th or 10th • Forms to turn in will be the USA Hockey medical consent to treat, USA Hockey code of conduct • Additional items to provide will be Volunteer Fee check & Tournament Deposit check will also be collected this night. • please bring 2 checks with you as the volunteer check is held and destroyed after volunteer hours are fulfilled

On-Line registration & payment– what to expect • The on-line registration run via NGIN and the SFYHA website. • You must register via USA Hockey and have your child(s) unique code for each registration • The USA Hockey medical and code of conduct forms will be available to download and fill out for Form Turn In Night • On-line Payments will be accepted via major credit cards, checking account, and/or pay-pal. • On-line payments will be required. • If extenuating circumstances exist, you will need to coordinate with SFYHA’s Treasurer directly • You may exit your registration session and return to the place holder at a later time if coordination with the treasurer is required. • You will see your payment from REG.NGIN.COM on your CC/bank statement • NGIN will assess a fee for processing, this is outside of SFYHA’s control and is not part of our processing. **Remember – use the latest version of Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Firefox to complete the on-line registration steps**

Form Turn in Night – something new! • To ensure our families have completed all the required information and paid the appropriate fees, SFYHA is hosting “Form Turn In Night(s)” September 9th & 10th • This will be the final mandatory step in the registration process. To be eligible for pre-skates and try-outs, a parent/guardian MUST attend one of the “Form Turn In Nights”. • Specific dates and times will be communicated next week! • For now, mark your calendars for the 2nd week of September • What will be turned in during this time frame?: • USA Hockey Medical History/Consent to Treat form • USA Hockey Code of Conduct • Any other misc. required form • Volunteer check • Tournament deposit check (NEW!) • Jersey sizing & try-on • **Potential Goalie Development Payment – details still being worked out**

  5. 2014-2015 ICE/Jersey/Registration Fees Added to the ICE Fee schedule will be tournament costs. We are requiring a tournament deposit ($200) check which will help pre-register for tournaments. The tournament deposit will be reconciled to each skater/team’s actual tournament costs. If additional fees are needed, you will be billed incrementally after the season starts. If the fees are less, you will be reimbursed.

  6. 2014-2015 Dates to Mark Down: • Please mark the following dates on your calendars for the kick-off to the 2014-2015 Winter Hockey Season: • August through September 10 – On-Line Registration OPEN • August 26th – Heggies Pizza Fundraiser Turn In • September 9th & 10th– Form Turn In Night(s) • 9/9 – 6:00 – 8:30 pm @ EBIA • 9/10 – 5:00 – 8:00 pm @ EBIA • September 10th – On-Line registration closes • September 10th- Heggies Pizza Pick Up Night • Week of September 14th – Pre-skate dates @ Isanti Ice Arena • Dates and times to be distributed shortly • September 20 & 21 – TRY-OUTS • Place: Isanti Rink • Times : will be distributed shortly • Levels : Squirts, PW, Bantam, and U12s • *We have worked with SF Football to minimize conflicts with football games on Saturday Sept 20th* • Week of September 22nd - complete try-out sessions and practices begin • Place: Isanti Ice Arena • October 3rd: Final team level declarations due to D10 • October 4th: Ice available EBIA; practices will be scheduled • October 8, 10, 15 – game scheduling • October 24, 25, 26 – Mite Evaluations • November 1 – regular season games can begin

  7. Try Outs – How will they work? • SFYHA and CIHA’s ACE & Try-out coordinators have been working on the finalization of the try-out process and procedures. • When the documentation has been completed, a summary will be sent to everyone • For the co-op teams, please plan on Saturday/Sunday September 20/21 and additional week night dates the week of September 22nd. • For the U12 teams, please plan on Saturday/Sunday September 20/21 and additional dates TBD if needed.
