SMALL BUSINESS The Office of Small Business is a small business advocacy and advisory office responsible for insuring that small business, small disadvantaged business, HUBZone, service disabled veteran-owned small business, veteran-owned small business, and women-owned small business concerns, including historically black colleges and universities and minority institutions (HBCU/MIs), participate in ONR's acquisition program both as prime contractors and as subcontractors.

  3. The Office of Naval Research coordinates, executes, and promotes the science and technology programs of the United States Navy and Marine Corps through schools, universities, government laboratories, and nonprofit and for-profit organizations. It provides technical advice to the Chief of Naval Operations and the Secretary of the Navy and works with industry to improve technology manufacturing processes.

  4. The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) provides in house research physical, engineering, space and environmental sciences. The NRL Marine Meteorology Division is located in Monterey, California (NRL-MRY). The NRL Detachment is located at Stennis Space Center, Bay St. Louis, Mississippi (NRL-SSC).

ONR ON THE ROAD CONTINUED April 6-8 : Navy League: Sea, Air and Space, Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, Washington DC Considered the largest maritime exposition in the world, this year will include professional seminars on the latest Navy, Coast Guard & Marine Corps programs, and exhibits that highlight the latest in advanced technologies. The ONR booth will feature information about cutting-edge naval technologies such as the X-Craft and Silver Fox.
