  1. The story of the Titanic By: Citally Noriega and Connor Madden

  2. The Beginning Facts of the Titanic The Titanic was captained by E.J. Smith of the White Star Cruise liners (owned by Bruce Ismay) first left port on April 10th, 1912. Even though it was the biggest ship it was also one of the fastest being able to go 20.5 knots.

  3. The Stunning Insides The richest people were a part of first class, they were granted excellent rooms and services. Second class was the average people with average rooms. The lowest class known as Third class was the very poor people looking for a new start in America.

  4. The Reason the Journey Went South It is possible to say the Titanic was doomed before it hit that iceberg. One coward of a man named Bruce Ismay ,the owner of White Star Cruise Liners, he was the one who wanted to show the world how great his company was, he wanted to make record time, he never put on the lifeboats, he hired cheap crappy workers, and he did not go down with his ship.

  5. The Sinking The start of the sinking was when Bruce put in the order to speed up the ship, completely ignoring the iceberg warnings that came out earlier. E.J. Smith did just that. When they struck the iceberg only women and children were aloud to go out first. Another horrible fact is that 3rd class was locked down in the lower areas while they were going down. Only allowing 1st and 2nd class to go first. The SOS signal was new and not well understood. Other ships didn’t ever have radio officers on at night. Although there was a ship very close by called the Californian. But since they had bad sailors on the Titanic they just randomly shot rockets in the air, which is not the pattern for a sinking ship. So the crew on the Californian assumed they were partying and let them be.

  6. The Aftermath So less than half of the passengers are floating around in lifeboats on the freezing Atlantic water, many families separated from loved ones. And the coward Bruce among them. But there was a ship coming that would be hours away called the Carpathia. The Carpathia passengers kindly aloud the Titanic passengers in their rooms. They would soon go to New York to find their families and friends they originally went for.

  7. After the Aftermath Sadly they the Carpathia was only able to save the passengers in the lifeboats because it was too late. When they all regrouped on the Carpathia they knew who was still there and who wasn’t. Many families were separated and just plain destroyed. Kids and babies lost their parents, wives lost their husbands, and so on. They eventually returned home and had to deal with the tragedy. Bruce Ismay had survived but was hated for his actions and always called a “coward” for not going down with his ship. Not too long after he committed suicide. They made new laws for operators to be on at all times, and to have enough lifeboats for everyone.

  8. The end Don’t forget to still go on a nice cruise occasionally.
