  5. ASU-UofA-NAU- GCU-ASU-UofA-NAU-GCU-ASU-UofA-NAU-GCU-- ARIZONA UNIVERSITY’S ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS English 4 Soc. Studies 2 Math 4 Fine Arts 1 Lab Science 3 Foreign Lang. 2 These 16 “core courses” can be met within the 22 credits needed for graduation.

  12. Why Should I take World History as a 9th grader? • History requirements can be met by 11th grade- leaving more room for electives: Criminal Justice Current World Affairs Psychology Sociology AP European History AP Psychology Benefits students interested in EVIT

  13. AP vs. Regular World History • AP is a college level course in high school. • AP uses a college-level textbook and requires advanced reading and writing skills. • AP world history is a 50% writing course. • AP allows opportunity to take exam for college credit.
