Why Should I take World History as a 9th grader? • History requirements can be met by 11th grade- leaving more room for electives: Criminal Justice Current World Affairs Psychology Sociology AP European History AP Psychology Benefits students interested in EVIT
AP vs. Regular World History • AP is a college level course in high school. • AP uses a college-level textbook and requires advanced reading and writing skills. • AP world history is a 50% writing course. • AP allows opportunity to take exam for college credit.
