  1. Open Enrollment 2020 For the Employees of Berkshire County ARC October 24, 2019

  2. What is Annual Open Enrollment? What is Annual Open Enrollment? Annual open enrollment is the opportunity for eligible employees to enroll and make changes to your benefits. Changes to benefits at any time other than annual enrollment are restricted to qualified life status changes which must be reported within 31 days of the event. Examples of qualified life status changes are: marriage, divorce, death of a dependent, birth or adoption of a child and gain or loss of other coverage for which you are a family member. Am I eligible? If you are classified as a regular, full time employee working at least 30 hours per week, you are eligible to enroll in the benefits. If you are a new hire, your benefits will be effective 90 days from your date of hire. Who are my eligible dependents? • Your legal spouse • Any child up to age 26 regardless of student, marital, disability or dependent status • Any non-dependent child not living with you for whom you are required to provide medical coverage under a Qualified Medical Child Support Order • A disabled child regardless of age. A disabled child over age 26 must have been disabled on or before the day he/she reached age 26 and is subject to annual medical certification
