Classroom Economy • Students can earn 1 Jones Buck a day for completing their job as a student. • Being at school the entire day • Turning in homework on time • Class Participation • Students can lose Jones Bucks for not being prepared in class, talking out of turn, receiving a minor/major slip, etc. • Once a month, the “Jones Store” opens and students can purchase items or choose to save their Jones Bucks. • Students will have the opportunity to apply for a leadership role to run the store (Merchant) or pass out Jones Bucks (Payroll).

Daily Schedule • Bus drop off 8:35 am • Ryan start time 8:45 am (Doors open at 8:35) • Literacy block (8:50-9:50) • Math Block (9:50-10:50) • Recess (10:50-11:20) • Lunch (11:20-11:50) • Literacy Block (11:50-12:40) • Science and/or Social Studies Block (12:40-1:40) • Specials (1:50-2:40) • TEAM Time (2:40-3:30) • Ryan dismissal / Parent Pick up 3:40 pm. Bus departure time 3:47 pm
Classroom Supply List • Extra pencils • Colored pencils • 1 or 2 boxes of tissues • Markers, highlighter, sticky notes, glue stick, scissors (*optional) • Small handheld pencil sharpener (with lid to catch shavings) (*optional) • Please choose an apple cut-out if you would like to donate an item to our classroom. Thank you in advance!
First Day of School • Healthy snack • Lunch money/sack lunch • Sturdy backpack (No wheels please) • Water bottle (with secure top) Students should be sure to get a good night’s rest. They will engage in many activities to get to know their classmates as well as classroom expectations and procedures during the first week.

Additional Information • Specials will be rotated weekly. • A calendar will be sent home next week. • We will have Art next Tuesday at 1:50. • Library will always be on Thursdays at 11:55. • Leave gym shoes in lockers. • Bring Art shirt, if desired. • We have recess every day….dress appropriately. • A healthy snack may be brought every day.
