  2. Honor Bars & Qualification Badges Honor bars are awarded in recognition of outstanding performance by cadets at home units or while attending a summer training encampment. Qualification Badges indicate noteworthy performance in marksmanship qualification lines of fire under Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP), National Rifle Association (NRA) or CACC rules.

  3. Honor Bars Cadets may wear as many honor bars as awarded provided they may not wear more than one of the same honor bar. Order of Precedence 1. Summer Camp Honor Cadet Officer Bar 2. Summer Camp Honor Cadet Bar 3. Honor Cadet Officer Bar 4. Honor Cadet Bar

  4. Honor Bars Summer Camp Honor Cadet Officer Bar May be awarded to cadet officers who have excelled in performance of their duties during the summer training encampment. May be awarded by brigade or other units conducting state-sanctions summer camp. Award shall consist of a two-inch wide metal bar

  6. Honor Bars Honor Cadet Officer Bar May be awarded annually to cadet commissioned officers that are selected as the unit’s honor cadet officer. Basis for the award is one (1) award per each seventy-five (75) cadets enrolled or major fraction thereof. Metal bar with “HONOR CADET OFFICER”

  7. Honor Bars Honor Cadet Bar May be awarded annually to cadet noncommissioned officers that are selected as the unit’s honor cadet. Basis for the award is one (1) award per each fifty (50) cadets enrolled or major fraction thereof. Metal bar with “HONOR CADET”

  8. Qualification Badge May be to cadets who qualify with the rifle in accordance with CR 3-17, Rifle Marksmanship Qualification. Award is a one inch square maltese cross with black letter “C” and a bar denoting the highest level of qualification: EXPERT - SHARSHOOTER - MARKSMAN - PRO MARKMAN
