  12. New TESTAMENT FOUNDATION PREAMBLE “An introductory statement; preface; introduction….” In TV production we call it the OPENING and WELCOME. In movies we call it the SET UP AND MOTIVE for the plot.

  14. New TESTAMENT FOUNDATION EPILOGUE “A concluding part added to a  literary work, as a novel. A speech, usually in verse,  delivered by one of the actors  after the conclusion of a play.”

  15. New TESTAMENT FOUNDATIONS Many scholars, even some of the conservative scholars, feel that Matthew did not intend these discourses to be there when writing. THE FIVE DISCOURSES
