Teaching Consultation Service The Office of Medical Education is pleased to announce a newTeachingConsultationService(TCS) WHAT IS TCS? TCS is available to all School of Medicine faculty members interested in receiving confidential feedback and reflection about their teaching. Each faculty member seeking TCS services plans his or her own “plan” for receiving feedback with the assistance of educators housed in the Office of Medical Education (OME). How does TCS Work? The faculty member and OME educator work together to plan one or more activities that will meet the faculty member’s teaching enhancement goals, for example, teaching observation/debriefing sessions, role play, one-on-one meetings, workshops, etc. How long the consultation lasts depends upon the faculty member’s goals and the nature of the activities planned. When can I take advantage of the TCS Services? This free service may be requested by a SOM faculty member at any time during the fall and spring semesters. Where do I sign-up?To schedule an initial consultation, contact Dr. Michael Rowland at 852-1864 or by email at michael.rowland@louisville.edu
