  10. Competition Floor Pro Members have access to the competition floor. Due to members arriving early to a session, or using their pro membership to gain access to the floor when they are not actually coaching, only the coaches with gymnasts competing in the current session (and actively coaching) will be allowed on the competition floor unless they are serving in an official capacity.
  11. Video Taping on the Floor IS NOT ALLOWED If you intend to videotape your gymnasts while they compete (using iPad, cell phone, video camera, etc), you must do so from the spectator area. Will be enforced by the meet director / meet referee / committee member
  12. CHAMPIONS MEDALS Will only be awarded at Level 5-10 States
  13. What is a season? USAG-MA offers one championship season which begins in March and ends in May. One state meet may be entered (per competitive season) as written in R&P. (Sportsmanship – R&P p13, II)

  15. Annual Champions Event REMAINING THE SAME FOR: All level 5-10 gymnasts that place 1st AA in their respective division at states. CHANGE: For all level 2-4 and PREP op sessions, there will only be a session champion (highest AA out of each session regardless of age group)
  16. Entry deadlines For all state sponsored sectionals (in gym) and state meets, the entry deadline is now on TUESDAY, twelve days prior to the competition. The late entry deadline is now SATURDAY of the same week. For all Level 2-4 and PREP Optional state meets, the entry deadline is the same as above except one week earlier, therefore nineteen days prior to competition. No entries will be accepted even with the late fee after the late entry deadline has passed.

  18. NEW PROCEDURES FOR ENTERING “INVITATIONAL AS SECTIONAL”MEETS

Invitational as Sectional entry form is available online at www.massusag.com Form must be submitted to Meet Director, appropriate Level Rep and State Chair via email no later than the Monday preceding the Invitational. When emailing, please list everyone that should receive it in the same email (rather than in separate emails) so that we know that everyone that should receive the entry has been sent it. Check for $5.00 per gymnast is postmarked by the Monday preceding the invitational and sent to Michele Archer, checks payable to Mass USAG. Adding the invitational as a sectional on-site will no longer be allowed and payment will no longer be accepted at the meet site.
