  6. NFC 功能 一、身分識別：具有識別功能，能解決記憶多個密碼的麻煩。 二、點對點的資料傳輸：因此藉由NFC，多個設備如數位相機、PDA、電腦、手機等之間，都可以進行無線互通，交換資料或服務。 三、資訊讀取：比如海報或者展覽資訊上貼有特定晶片，這些晶片無需電源，NFC手機即可快速讀取資訊。

Contactless Communication API JSR177 JSR 177 係一組Java套件，其全名為Security AndTrust Services API (SATSA)，由Gemplus提出，其目的：在提供一組與安全相關的程式模組，給J2ME手機的應用程式(MIDlet) 呼叫使用。如下圖5，該組套件提供了PKI套件、加解密套件(CRYPTO)以及APDU、JCRMI套件，其中與晶片金融卡最直接相關的是SATSA-APDU套件。SATSA-APDU中的APDUConnection 類別， 可以和手機內的晶片卡建立ISO7816通道物件，行動銀行MIDlet (非現行使用STK技術的行動銀行) 可以透過該通道物件存取手機內的晶片金融卡元件，進行線上查詢/轉帳/購貨等個人理財及連線交易。另一個可行的應用是MP3下載MIDlet，可以透過通道物件存取手機內的晶片金融卡電子錢包元件，以支付下載費用。

  16. Contactless Communication API JSR257 針對J2ME架構所開發的應用程式稱為MIDlet. JSR257所指的在J2ME的作業平台下，所使用的無線通訊可以是透過無線射頻技術Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)、近場通訊 Near Field Communication (NFC) 或是二維條碼bar codes的方式來進行資料傳輸。透過此無線傳輸方式，在NFC模式下可以在兩個NFC裝置上傳輸小量的資料；RFID的Reader與Tag間也可透過無線傳輸的方法來進行資料交換或擷取。
