Active Members • Be open to new members and new ideas! • Publicize your group and your need for volunteers everywhere. • Pass sign-up sheets for specific volunteer opportunities at programs. • Let your community know that its library is better because of active Friends. • Have Fun!!
Be a Great, Open and Visible Organization • Rotate officers • Increase the positions on your Board • Invite newcomers to join a committee • Provide new members with a “Friendly” orientation
