What did all the monarchs have in common? • Peter the Great, along with all the other monarchs wanted to expand royal power. They all believed the should be absolute rulers.

Who would Peter get along with? • Peter the Great would get along with Frederick II of Prussia because they both sought to modernize their country.
Who would Peter not get along with? • Peter the Great would most likely not get along with Philip II of Spain because Philip was ultra-religious. Peter wanted to modernize his country and religion was not a priority for him.
