  4. VICE PRINCIPAL BASIC QUALIFICATION i)2nd Class Masters degree in one of the subjects taught in Kendriya Vidyalayas ii)University degree/diploma in Education/Teaching. METHOD OF RECRUITMENT 50% BY PROMOTION & 50% BY LIMITED DEPARTMENTAL EXAMINATION

VICE PRINCIPAL BY PROMOTION PROMOTED FROM AMONG PGTs SERVING KVs POSSESSING i)2nd Class Masters degree in one of the subjects taught in Kendriya Vidyalayas ii)University degree/diploma in education/Teaching iii) Atleast 08 years’ experience as PGT in a recognized High/Higher Secondary School of which at least 3 years should be in a Kendriya Vidyalaya. • PROMOTION GIVEN AS PER THE ALL INDIA COMMON SENIORITY NUMBER OF THE EMPLOYEES

  6. VICE PRINCIPAL BY LIMITED DEPARTMENTAL EXAM BASIC QUALIFICATION i)2nd Class Masters degree in one of the subjects taught in Kendriya Vidyalayas ii)University degree/diploma in Education/Teaching. • OPEN TO SERVING PGTS WITH 05 YEARS REGULAR SERVICE AS PGT

  7. PRINCIPAL BASIC QUALIFICATION i) Masters degree with at least 45% in aggregate ii)University degree/diploma in Education/Teaching. METHOD OF RECRUITMENT 66.7% BY DIRECT RECRUITMENT & 33.4% BY PROMOTION OR BY DEPUTATION

  8. PRINCIPAL AGE LIMIT MINIMUM 35 YEARS & MAXIMUM 50 YEARS. NO UPPER AGE LIMIT IN THE CASE OF EMPLOYEES OF THE KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA SANGATHAN. AGE RELAXATION FOR SC/ST AND OTHER CATEGORIES AS APPLICABLE UNDER THE GOVT. OF INDIA RULES WOULD BE APPLICABLE

  9. PRINCIPAL BY PROMOTION • ON THE PRINCIPLE OF MERIT WITH DUE REGARD TO SENIORITY AMONGST VICE PRINCIPALS / PRINCIPAL GRADE II WHO HAVE RENDERED A MINIMUM OF EIGHT YEARS SERVICE IN KVS OF WHICH 02 YEARS SHOULD BE IN THE GRADE OF VICE PRINCIPAL

  10. PRINCIPAL BY DIRECT RECRUITMENT REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Persons holding analogous posts or posts of Principals (b)Vice Principal/Asstt. Education Officers with 01 year’s service (c) Persons holding Group ‘B’ posts or the post of PGTs or Lecturer in the pay scale of with at least 8 years’ regular service

  11. PRINCIPAL BY DEPUTATION • IF SUITABLE CANDIDATES ARE NOT AVAILABLE COMMISSIONER MAY FILL UP THE VACANCIES ON DEPUTATION BASIS FROM AMONGST EMPLOYEES OF THE GOVT. OF INDIA/STATE GOVTS/AUTONOMOUS ORGANIZATIONS PROVIDED THE CANDIDATE FULFILS ALL THE QUALIFICATIONS PRESCRIBED FOR DIRECT RECRUITS.

  12. Assistant commissioner AGE LIMIT • 50 YEARS. NO AGE BAR IN THE CASE OF EMPLOYEES OF THE KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA SANGATHAN. AGE RELAXATION FOR SC/ST AND OTHER CATEGORIES AS APPLICABLE UNDER THE GOVT. OF INDIA RULES WOULD BE APPLICABLE

  13. Assistant commissioner BASIC QUALIFICATION i)Masters degree with at least 45% aggregate ii)University degree/diploma in Education/Teaching. METHOD OF RECRUITMENT 50% BY DIRECT RECRUITMENT & 50% BY PROMOTION

  14. ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER BY PROMOTION • FROM AMONGST PRINCIPALS OF KENDRIYA VIDYALAYAS ON MERIT CUM SENIORITY

  15. ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER BY RECRUITMENT REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (A)PERSONS HOLDING ANALOGOUS POSTS OR POSTS OF PRINCIPALS WITH AT LEAST ONE YEAR EXPERIENCE (B)VICE PRINCIPAL/ASSTT. EDUCATION OFFICERS WITH AT LEAST 04 YEARS’ SERVICE

  16. DEPUTY commissioner AGE LIMIT • 50 YEARS. NO AGE BAR IN THE CASE OF EMPLOYEES OF THE KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA SANGATHAN. AGE RELAXATION FOR SC/ST AND OTHER CATEGORIES AS APPLICABLE UNDER THE GOVT. OF INDIA RULES WOULD BE APPLICABLE METHOD OF RECRUITMENT 50% BY DIRECT RECRUITMENT & 50% BY PROMOTION

DEPUTY COMMISSIONER BY PROMOTION • From Assistant Commissioners having 5 years’ regular service as such failing which amongst Assistant Commissioners with 10 years combined service in the grade of Principal / Assistant Commissioner in the Sangathan out of which minimum one year service as Assistant Commissioner

  18. DEPUTY commissioner ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION 1. At least a second class Master’s Degree B.Ed or equivalent degree 05 years’ regular service as Assistant Commissioner or equivalent posts under the Central/State Government and Autonomous organizations

  19. DEPUTY COMMISSIONER BY RECRUITMENT ADVERTISEMENT IN THE PRESS CIRCULATION AMONGST STATE GOVERNMENT, UNIVERSITIES, OTHER EDUCATIONAL AUTONOMOUS BODIES, GOVT. AND THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND CULTURE. IF SUITABLE CANDIDATES ARE NOT AVAILABLE BY THE PROCEDURE, THE COMPETENT AUTHORITY MAY, AFTER OBTAINING THE ADVICE OF THE SELECTION COMMITTEE CONSTITUTED FOR SUCH SELECTION, FILL UP A VACANCY ON DEPUTATION BASIS FROM THE EMPLOYEES OF THE GOVT OF INDIA/STATE GOVTS. ,. UNION TERRITORIES AND AUTONOMOUS ORGANISATIONS PROVIDED THE CANDIDATES FULFILL ALL THE QUALIFICATIONS FOR DIRECT RECRUITS
