VIRTECH Units: • 1.Luxembourg-VIRTECH (Lux-VT) unit: for co-operation with IT SMEs in Luxembourg, European Commission units, etc.; • 2.Angeloo-VIRTECH (Ang-VT) unit: for developments related to Angeloo AG, Germany (Stuttgart), Angeloo-Bulgaria Ltd., Silicon Serdica Initiative, etc.; • 3.SDT-VIRTECH (SDT-VT) unit: for co-operation with SDT, Scotland (Stirling) and SDT-Bulgaria Ltd.; • 4.Hearst-VIRTECH (Hst-VT) unit for co-operation with Hearst Business Communications, Inc., Garden City, New York, USA.

VIRTECH Cost-benefits analysis • Savings on office space rental: 12 people out of 25 are teleworkers, saving 120 sq. m. office space = 1200 EUR/month • Savings on office utilities – heating, electricity, water, phones, security, cleaning: 700 EUR/month in the winter, 500 EUR/month in the summer • Savings on computer costs (for University and Academy people), based on equipment depreciation costs: 400 EUR/month • Losses of using additional communication equipment in the headquarters – calculations based on depreciation of 18 000 EUR equipment for 36 months = 500 EUR/month; losses of additional communication costs: 200 EUR/month • TOTAL BENEFITS MINUS COSTS : 1600 EUR/month in the winter, 1400 EUR/month in the summer.
