  1. Heads up July 2014 The monthly round-up of regional leadership and organisation development news from Yorkshire & the Humber leadership and OD partners

  2. Regional News Social Media Sessions Following the regional consultation which took place last year, we designed and commissioned a one-day Social Media workshop to help organisations make the most out of their digital presence. The initial sessions were a great success and heavily over-subscribed; therefore we are hosting a further six sessions this year to ensure as many as possible interested NHS Leaders and local authority staff have the chance to attend. The workshops will be split into beginners and advanced, to suit all levels. For further information and confirmed workshop dates please contact Jo Seddon. “Change is Changing” Volunteers We need help to design and commission content and providers for a new developmental network, for mid-level managers and clinicians leading complex change or significant service improvement. Membership is open to anyone already in a community of practice such as OD Network, and Innov8 Associates. The network aims to complement the work of other partners such as NHS IQ and AHSN and will enable members to work effectively with the human aspects of change. To volunteer, contact Lynsey Nicholson and we will be in touch from 17th July.

  5. Team News The Yorkshire & Humber Leadership and OD team has been refreshing its purpose in light of demand from the consultation that took place last year. A regional leadership development strategy has been put in place to deliver the requirements that you as our stakeholders have asked for. A dedicated work programme of development offers has been put together, which is designed to help you by complementing your local programmes. This was approved by the Regional Leadership Council (RLC), a sub-committee within the Yorkshire & Humber LETB Board. We will launch a prospectus in the next month to showcase our full offer, including regional programmes and initiatives as well as the core national programmes we deliver in the region as a local delivery partner to the NHS Leadership Academy. The prospectus launch will also mark a change in name as we become the Yorkshire & Humber Leadership Academy. We are very keen to ensure our offer remains relevant to your regional needs and are always keen to hear from our stakeholders. If you would like to find out more about our work, our governance through the RLC or are interested in helping to shape our work and future offer, please contact Kathyrn Winterburn.
