  3. Spelling & Vocabulary • Peace - a state of calm or quiet • Piece - a section or part of something • Learn - to gain knowledge • Teach - to instruct • Haiku - a poetic style of Japanese origin, having three lines made of five, seven, and five syllables, respectively

  4. Homework MONDAY – Write each spelling word 5Xs each (1-5) TUESDAY –Write each spelling word 5Xs each (6-10) WEDENSDAY – DO YOUR VOCABULARY INDEX CARDS. (Due tomorrow…word on front/definition on back) THURSDAY – STUDY FOR YOUR TESTS
