ESF 2 – Communications • Current Operations – • Coordinating cell/sat phone requests and deliveries, phone line installations • Coordinating communications set up for T1 lines, POTS, dsl, etc for the LSAs • approx 300 phone lines installed • Monitoring 800 MHz State Law Enforcement Radio System SLERS is 100% operational with wide-area connectivity. • 234,685 customers wireline outages reported in impacted areas • 62,986 services restored to customers wireline from yesterday 9/11 • Over 848,300 services restored since Hurricane Frances (voice and data lines) • 97.8% average of wireless coverage • Approx 1123 cell sites have been restored • 35 COWS- (Cellular on Wheels) • 5 SAT COLTS - (Cellular on Light Truck) • Approx 5500 cell phones • 244 wireless air card • 20 toll free and local voice conference lines • 738 generators • Over 120 SAT phones deployed

  22. ESF 4&9 Firefighting and Search & Rescue

ESF 4&9 – Fire Fighting & Search & Rescue • Current Operations – • FL-TF-1, FL-TF-2, CA-TF-2, NE-TF-1, NM-TF-1, and OH-TF-1 are on alert • VA-TF-2 and TN-TF-1 are staged in Jacksonville Naval Air Station • There is some consideration of repositioning VA-TF-2, TN-TF-1, FL-TF-1, and FL-TF-2 • Joint Management Team is staged in Orlando • Three US&R Specialist are deployed to Rapid Needs Assessment Teams • 1 Strike team of Rescues deployed in Monroe County • Unmet Needs – • None at this time • Future Operations – • Continue monitoring and planning for Hurricane Ivan • Continue assessing the potential flooding situation in areas impacted by Frances and potentially by Ivan. • Trying to close out and/or update missions for Frances and Charley Up Next – ESF 6

ESF 6 – Mass Care • Current Operations – • ARC • All kitchens have been moved out of harms way and will redeploy post landfall • 176 ERVs deployed statewide will stay operational, serving MREs instead of hot meals until post landfall • TSA • 47 Canteens and 19 Comfort Stations are and will remain operational • 25 Canteens are stage out of state and waiting for post landfall response • Both agencies • will only pull their assets if the county EOC orders closures • are stocking units and staging areas from the LSAs to facilitate rapid redeployment post impact • Shelters as of 1545 09/13/04 • 17 Open with 1,622 shelterees • 98 Shelters On Standby

ESF 10 – Hazardous Materials • Current Issues – • Continuing cleanup of various oil and minor hazardous materials incidents, many at marinas throughout the impact area. • Continuing daily assessments of drinking water, waste water, solid waste, RCRA HazWaste, and phosphate facilities. • Working to support generator requests for small drinking water facilities and wastewater facilities. • Solid waste facilities status in affected counties: • 97 Operational • 3 not operational • 2 unconfirmed/unknown • Drinking water facilities status in affected counties: • 252 operational • 1 not operational • 5 unconfirmed/unknown • Domestic Waste water facilities status in affected counties: • 253 operational • 6 not operational • 84 operational with followup needs • 22 unconfirmed/unknown status

  34. ESF 12 – Energy • Current Operations – • Power • Estimated 195,704 customers without power. Down from peak of 4.4 million. (restored power to 4.2 million customers) • Outage data can be found in Tracker # 1549 • Restorations are ongoing. ETRs available by county on Tracker # 4023 • 13,500 plus out-of-state personnel are being tasked throughout the state to assist with power restoration • Continuing to monitor power restoration
