Exploitation of Research GlASGOW WORKSHOP 24/6/2010 Issues and Comments “Other exploitation” – feels very woolly? Do big numbers mean big impact? What about students research/work? E.g. bike gears? (if a student invents new technology for bicycle gears) Distinction between spin out company and start up? RC UK = Dragon’s Den! Why isn’t consultancy more high profile? Is collaboration an outcome or a journey? Not an end in itself How do you measure exploitation?
