4. The Nation’s Report Card:National Assessment of Educational Progress of 4th Graders Higher scores for those who read 11 or more pages daily. Lower scores for those who don’t do homework. 5. Handwriting Cursive is required in all subjects. Handwriting will be improved with in class modeling and worksheets and self-assessment.

16. ELA Modules • Curriculum addresses a full year of English Language Arts instruction in four modules. • Each module is about eight weeks long, and is made up of three units comprised of six to twenty lessons that link reading and writing with speaking and listening skills.
