Presentation Transcript

  1. First • Clear off your desk except for a pencil and the articles. • Read the articles provided about bucket lists. • Please do not write on the articles as they are part of a class set.

  2. Second • Discuss • What is a bucket list? • What is the purpose of a bucket list? • Do you think having a bucket list is a good idea? • Are bucket lists just for those who are terminally ill? • Do you have a bucket list?

  3. Third • Fictional Bucket Lists • You are going to create a bucket list of at least 12 things you would like to do; however, your list must be things found in fictional novels or stories. For example, you might want to travel down Alice’s hole. • You may have no more than 4 from movies or tv shows. • Individually—Spend some time brainstorming things you want on your fiction bucket list. • When I say so…As a table, discuss your lists. You may “steal” ideas from your friends or you may add new ideas that their responses made you think of. • Discuss as a class.

  4. Last • Illustrate your list using your choice of paper.
