  3. Sanitation problem in Bangladesh Health Do not Wash hands properly Do not use boiled water Polluted pond and river Arsenic in tube well water Drinking water cause serious health problem?

  4. Contents of research • Actual situation of Health problem and • water pollutions and their correlation • Research on the tube well water （arsenic, manganese , Iron, zinc） • Ask questions to local people and chairman • Ask questions to hospital , school

  5. Actual situation of health problem • Diseases which people are suffering most… • Fever, stomachache , pneumonia Because of unsanitary environment , we thought drinking water directlycause those health problem. However , we could not found out prooffor it.

Actual situation of water pollution ・shallow well • Contain arsenic more than 10 times of government criterion • 17.3% (4/23 deep tube well contain arsenic, drinking purpose ) ・deep tube well safe but not enough.（ex. 1 deep tube well for 100 people） ・knowledge of arsenic villagers know well] →some people are forced to use shallow well or pond though they know it is unsanitary and dangerous.

  7. Problem we have to tackle and solution for it Som e people can not access to safe water. →we want all the people in Eklaspur can drink safe water We want to make access to safe water!!

  11. What will GCMP do in the future? Organic matter Guarantee for safety of Deep tube well Pollution of pump itself Next research GCMP will do… ・examination on organic materials and germ in deep tube wells ・investigate into deep well and its piping how or whether it is polluted
