  11. L’IMPARFAIT (pg. 244) • Un temps du passé • On l’utilise pour: • Faire des suggestions • Parler de quelque chose habituelle au passé (the way things used to be) • Pour mettre la scène d’une histoire (background information of a story)

  12. Comment former l’imparfait • Choose Any Verb:Finir • Conjugate it with NOUS : Finissons • Take off the -ons. - Finiss • (This gives you your new stem!) • Then add the following ENDINGS: je finissais nous finissions tufinissaisvousfinissiez ellefinissaitilsfinissaient
