Diploma Requirements • 4 English- one credit per grade • 3 Mathematics - at least one in Grade 11 or 12 • 2 Science • 1 Canadian History (gr.10) • 1 Canadian Geography (gr.9) • 1 Arts (Visual, Music, Drama or Dance) • 1 French as a second language • 1 Health and Physical Education • 1 Civics and Career Studies (.5 civics and .5 career studies)

Changing levels • Prerequisite means that you MUST have a necessary course before you can take another course. • There are a few cases where students can change from academic to college level with the approval of the Principal, counsellor & parent.
Post-Secondary…. • Apprenticeships: Skilled trades. Information available in the Guidance and Career Centre. • College : 100% of programs require English. 65% of programs require Math. • University: All need English. Each program has very specific course requirements. Students should access ‘eINFO’. This can be viewed online at www.ouac.on.ca University admission is based on 6 ‘U’ and ‘M’ courses. Grades requirements vary depending on programs.
Timelines • Monday, January 22 Print out a copy of your myBlueprint selections form and return it to your homeroom teacher. - Use “Cash ONLINE on our website” - If you need to bring cash or cheque, bring $65 directly to Ms. Polla in the guidance department.
