  2. Jack Frehafer, Pennsylvania DOR, Chair Janice Davidson, North Carolina DOR, Vice Chair The ASSC is reviewing its charter 2009 ASSC Conference was canceled due to budgetary issues in each jurisdiction Attorneys’ Section Steering Committee

  3. Items for the agenda had included: The ASSC was looking at the question of one jurisdiction collecting a liability for another jurisdiction during and enforcement stop Cross Border Demonstration Project PTO issues and fuel exemptions Industry issues Attorneys’ Section Steering Committee

  4. The IFTA, Inc. Board of Trustees asked the ASSC to review the 2009 Ballots The Ballot review was to determine if the language in the proposal supported the intent of the ballot, if the language was clear, and if there were any concerns regarding legal issues Attorneys’ Section Steering Committee

  5. The Committee Chairs and the Board of Trustees to meet in October Required under the Strategic Plan Review the Best Practices Guide for Committee Chairs Work to Improve communication between the Committee Chairs and the Board of Trustees Discuss expectations, roles, responsibilities of Committee Chairs Discuss issues of concern to Committee Chairs Committee Chairs Meeting Update
