  2. OBJETIVOS Identificar estrategias para utilizar y memorizar vocabulario antes, durante y después de clase. Familiarizarse con herramientas para practicar vocabulario.

  3. REFLEXIÓN • ¿Qué hago usualmente para aprender vocabulario? • ¿Tengo ya una estrategia definida? • ¿Con qué frecuencia utilizo estrategias para practicar el nuevo vocabulario? • ¿Cómo evalúo mi aprendizaje del vocabulario?

  4. ESTRATEGIAS PARA USAR EL NUEVO VOCABULARIO

  5. Antes de la clase

  6. 1. RESALTAR • Palabras desconocidas. • Expresiones nuevas.

  7. 2. BUSCAR • Significado o sinónimo. • Simbolos de pronunciación. • Categoria gramatical. Recuerde tratar de usar sus propias palabras para escribir la definición. • Maybe (adv): possibly • /meɪ.bi/ • Over there (prep): • In that place • /əʊvər ðer/ • Asleep (adj): • /ə´sli:p/ • Think (v). • /θɪŋk/

  10. Ejercicio 1 • Revise la próxima lección de su libro. • Seleccione 3 palabras nuevas. • Resáltelas. • Escoja una y use su diccionario para encontrar el significado, símbolos de pronunciación y la categoría gramatical.

  12. 1. COMPARAR Use las expresiones de clase para: • Comparar el nuevo vocabulario con su compañero. • Practicar la pronunciación. What words do you have..?

  15. Ejercicio 2 1. Use las expresiones de clase para comparar el nuevo vocabulario y su pronunciación. 2. Siguiendo el modelo del libro, personalícelo utilizando una de las nuevas palabras.

  17. 1. Asociar Asociar el nuevo vocabulario con palabras y objetos relacionados (mapas mentales y redes de palabras.) (Touchstone 1, p. 20)

  18. Aprenderlos verbos con las palabras que usualmente los acompañan (collocations) (Touchsone 2, p. 30)
