  10. Field Mission to Lower Austria • Date: 7th – 9th May 2014 • Place: Lower Austria • Topic:Financing options for alternative & sustainable energy solutions • Participants: 20 participants (excl. Lower Austrian participants) • Czech Republic: 1 • Slovenia: 1 • Estonia: 16 • Bulgaria: 2 • Italy: ? • REMINDER: Hotel booking has to done by each • partner by himself!

Pilot action status • implementation of pilot innovation voucher scheme • workshop with responsible politicians led by external experts (from 2 succesfull „voucher regions“) • pre-final draft of the scheme including focus, eligible activities, subsidy rates, conditions, etc => all approved by RA • hired contractor for preparation of PR campaign (logos, website, press release, leaflets, workshop, etc.) • development of SW application module (on-line) • close cooperation with S3 strategy preparation

FYI • promised to have allocation of 50.000 EUR by RA • setting up the scheme with intention • to avoid fulfillment of R&D activities (in order to simplify the process of evaluation) • to unify subsidy rate for all applicants (75%, max. 6.000 EUR) • to avoid personal preferences within evaluation -> drawing lots • first call to be designed „for all“ to encourage and getting a feedback • next calls will be adjusted with bonification for „eco“ projects • mechanism of funding via „value transfer“

Field mission in PRG • 12. – 13.5. 2014, Technology Centre of CZ, Prague • New funding instruments and challenges for support to eco-innovation and eco-energy projects • 1st day – introduction to H2020 opportunities by experts of Technology Center of Czech Republic + project idea assessment • 2nd day – adjustment of project idea (activities, tasks, deliverables, timeplan, etc.) • existing and new partners are welcome • BK & JJ will send you project sheets in next following days

Pilot Action • 3 Seminars: Eco-Innovation and GreenProcurement, Eco and Energy-Labels in Europe and NorthernCountries, Energymanagementsystems. • Target – public and privatesector • status quo in PilotAction – 2 seminars are done and 1 seminar isplanned aprill/may 2014 • Highlights – Highinterestfromdifferent groups of peoplefortheGreenprocurement seminar • difficulties in realising pilot action – Hard to reach to key persons and to explain economic benefits
