Proposal Idea (for our contribution) inter/ble next generation of broadband radio communication system for public safety and security • Offer know/ how and expertise regarding the IP domain (Layer) of the PPDR broadband Networks (see below); • IP domain (layer) will be responsible for inter-network interoperability; • Partners we are looking for: • FR and police agencies from at least 10 MS or Associated Countries (Public Bodies) • RTOs with research agenda in radio communication systems (for public safety & security); • Consulting Companies with experience in technical and administrative processes for EC Tenders; • Non Profit Standardization bodies;
What we offer … inter/ble next generation of broadband radio communication system for public safety and security • Technical expertise in IP Multimedia Sub-System (IMS) and in SIP (Session Initiation Protocol). IMS enables convergence of heterogeneous communication NETWORKS. (relative to networks interoperability): • Supports the widely accepted Standards for Rich media communication services: with real time voice (VoiP), video (RTP/ RTSP), conferencing and asynchronous content sharing (data/ messages); • Network management services: • Registration services; Presence services; • Session Management (PTC; priorities; QoS) • Supports distributed Architecture to accommodate interoperability between individual Networks managed by different authorities (the cross-national/ cross-border case) • Expertise in Users/ System Requirements Analysis • Relevant Experience: HIT-GATE project (http://www.hit-gate.eu/) other security projects • Strong Links with Greek FRs • Project Coordination: Experience to POV (bares similarities to PCP)
