Proposal Concept DRS 5 –Crisis management topic 5 • Study of prevention, preparation, mitigation measures from the organizational, operational, technical aspect • Heavy focus on dissemination and liaison activities with stakeholders and public, in preparation for the PCP
Looking for Partners DRS 5 –Crisis management topic 5 • Public Stakeholders in Disaster Management, Civil Protection, Law Enforcement, Emergency Response, Health Sector, Military Sector • Partners with experience in relevant projects on disaster management, civil protection, decision support etc. for enabling a thorough review and evaluation of FP6/FP7 projects or National projects and setting up liaisons with relevant consortia. • Partners with experience in: • ICT systems for disaster management (C4I, GIS etc), • Supply of basic needs (Power, telecommunications etc.), • Sensors and Tools for situation awareness, • Telecommunications interoperablility, • Simulation and Preparedness Tools, • Legal/Ethical/Political Aspects of civil protection, privacy and ethics, Risk analysis • Partners willing to undertake dissemination and liaison activities: • Hosting of Workshops • Dissemination of information through educational and scientific activities • Setting up liaison with stakeholder groups, clusters,initiatives and relevant consortia
