Proposal Idea & Partners we look for Communication technologies and interoperability topic 2: Next generation emergency services • A critical element in the development of Next Generation Emergency Calls & Services is the IP enabled convergence between Heterogeneous communication Access Points and dedicated Answering Points • Mobile (3G/ 4G/ 5G) • wired telephony networks (PSTN) • VoIP telephony (fixed or wireless WiFi/WiMaxhotspots) • First Responders digital Radio Networks (TETRA, TETRAPOL, digital PMRs) • Partners we are looking for: • Double Play Providers (PSTN- DSL) • Mobile Operators • Emergency service Organizations (FR) • Experts in HMIs for Elderly People and people with Disabilities • Technology providers (Telecom Industry)
What we offer … Communication technologies and interoperability topic 2: Next generation emergency services • Technical expertise in IP Multimedia Sub-System (IMS) and in SIP (Session Initiation Protocol). IMS enables convergence of heterogeneous communication technologies. Indicative Capabilities (relative to IP enabled emergency calls): • Rich media communication services: • With real time voice, audio and asynchronous content sharing (data/ messages); • Accessible from anyone via a web browser (using WebRTC technologies); • Other specialized capabilities: • Location awareness, presence and call services; • Location Based Ad – Hoc groups for Audio or Video Conferencing on demand (Temporary client driven Conference bridging) with variable QoS (with Half duplex or Full duplex communication); • Expertise in Users/ System Requirements Analysis • Relevant Experience: HIT-GATE project (http://www.hit-gate.eu/) other security projects • Strong Links with Greek FRs • Project Coordination
