It has adapted to the cold climate There are a lot of leaves on the stems. The more leaves, the more they can photosynthesize Calliegon species cont.
Salix Pulcha • The twigs on a willow are very soft • They can get up to 20 feet in height or just a few inches. • When the willow blooms it looks bumpy and fuzzy • The twigs on the willow are made into baskets b/c they bend easily

The Animals.. There are unique animals in the Tundra. Such of these animals are; Pikas, Marmots, Arctic Fox's, Ermines, Polar Bears, and Snowy Owls. These animals are neat looking and most of them you do not see often. Take your chance to see a Ermines today!
