TUNDRA PLANTS • Lichen • Things that grow on rocks are lichen. • It is a FUNGUS growing on rocks. • Lichenturns into many different colors, it mostly grows orange. • Dark Red Leaves • The Dark Red Leaves grow very small leaves. • They grow dark red leaves because it protects them from the climate. • It grows dark red leaves because it helps it get more heat from the sun.

  3. Tundra animals • Snow Bunting • The Snow Bunting only eat seeds. • Snow Buntings live in the mountains. • Snow Buntings are white but part of it is black. • Norway Lemming • The Norway Lemming is a mammal. • The Norway Lemming only eats grass. • It lives in the grasslands.
