  2. Climate . Ground is permitly frozen all year round . . The average temerater is 18 degrease F . . The Tundra gets 10 in of snow . . Tundra get vearycold during winter . . It gets warmer during the short summers .

  4. Plants • The plants in the Tundra are the grasses , shrubs , herbs , lichens . • The plants tend to have shallow roots and flower quickly during the short summer months . • The plants tend to have hairy stems and dark leaves .

  5. Animals • The animals in the Tundra are the artic fox , the snowy owl , the musk oxen , the ptarmigas , and the polar bears . • The caribou is a animal that migrates south for the winter . • Most animals are out during the summer .

  6. Insects • The insects in the Tundra are the springtails , weevils , mosquitoes , and flies . • The springtails and the weevils are herbivorous insects . • The Tundra is home to the most mosquitoes then any other biome

  7. landforms • The landforms in the Tundra are the Bumpy ground, the Frost boils , the Stripes thawing , the Pingos , and the Polygons .
