  2. A little bit of history… • Montcada was for decades one of the most polluted cities in Spain. • 3 Rivers, 6 industrial states, 3 highways and railways, an incinerator…

  3. La Farge • It’s an incinerator and an extractor of minerals. • This polluted the air of our inhabitants. • But in the 90’s, it was created an environment group that wanted to clean their city.

  4. The fight against the pollution • Since this group started to protest about pollution, lots of laws and actions have been created and done to protect environment. • However, Montcada isn’t a clean city nowadays. • But the city council built a Natural Park aside the river.

  5. The water treatment plant • It was built in 2002 to clean Montcada’s water and turn it back to the rivers afterwards.
