  2. Generators • Added AlpGen: a higher order diagram generator (Michelangelo's stuff). This is an AlpGen-Herwig interface. • The AlpGen-Pythia came out recently. Will be available for D0 in p14. • Updated CompHep interface to Pythia 6.2 • Updated OneTop interface to Pythia 6.2 Qizhong Li p13 report at cpb

  3. A New package mctest is available in p13 to test all main generators during release build. It tests generation + conversion to MCKineChunk format. • Better description of the beam collision region in the generators. • Current Status: • The generators are tested OK, except OneTop. • OneTop crashes for Wbbbar. The fix will be in p13.03.00. • The beam spot has not been tested/verified. Qizhong Li p13 report at cpb

  4. D0gstar • Realistic Geometry: • SMT is verified. The new SMT geometry, as the build geometry, is in p13. • Calorimeter position (both CC and EC) moved since P12. • MUON has new geometry in forward region since p12. • All material properly accounted for. • Magnet Field are verified ok. • Alignment for SMT, Muon, CPS, etc will be in p14. Current Status: • Muon hit mapping problem with new geometry is fixed (two active volumes were not mapped in earlier version). • During test/verification found that the Muon geometry in current p13 is still not the latest survey version. (It uses the “-1” version). • The latest muon geometry .tz file does not work in GEANT. Shuichi and Yuriy Yatsunenko are working on fixing it. Will be in p13.03.00. • More test/verification needed after have MC events processed with p13 full chain. Qizhong Li p13 report at cpb

  6. D0Raw2Sim • It is now available in p13 for converting zero-bias data to Psuedo-SimChunk for every sub-detectors. • Current Status: • Runs ok on zero-bias runs. • Waiting for a non-crashing D0Sim to test/verify on data&MC overlay. • Have not tested on zero-bias stream.   7. PMCS (fast MC) • P13 is the first production release when PMCS can be used for a limited set of physics uses. • The first use will be for NP group. P13 probably fine for calculating acceptance in many NP searches (e, m, jets, b-tag). • Current status: • It is being tested and updated. • Recently all packages are modified to handle x-dimension stuff. Not on p13-br yet. It is still under testing. • The working version will be p13.mm.nn, not p13.02.00. • P13 PMCS is tuned on MC, not data! Qizhong Li p13 report at cpb
